It's a 2003 model, according to the serial number near the electronics (last two digits are the year of production) It's handmade in USA by Rob Elrick, it's not part of the new EXPAT series. This bass is very very light, and is equipped with two Bartolini pickups, and a Bartolini 3 bands EQ. It plays great, lots of sounds available with the EQ, and the woods are wonderful, just look at that birdseye maple fingerboard.
