Improving your swing and practicing without accompaniment

Recommended Posts

Here's a lesson from my website, www.gregorihofmann.com

Here I look at ways to improve your time feel when playing swing and ways to practice arpeggios while working on common rhythmic subdivisions.

I then show you how I practice these ideas as well as all the ideas I have spoken about in my videos by playing through the A Section of the Cannonball Adderley tune ''Grand Central'' without accompaniment.

If you enjoy the lesson please check out my site, www.gregorihofmann.com for over 100 free lessons and articles all related to learning bass

Thanks
Greg
