FS: Fender Princeton Reverb II - Rivera era (handwired)

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

With the arrival of my '74 Silverface Deluxe Reverb, it's time to let go my lovely Princeton II.

It is a Rivera-era blackface (what doesn't mean any connection with the pre-CBS blackface circuits anyway) but it's still handwired. The clean channel is very good, the dirty isn't. I've always used dirty boxes in front it and it works really well with them.

There are loads of information on this dedicated site:

It's very light weight, so ease to grab and go, and quite loud ... never used it above 4 channel gain + 5 master volume.

It comes with the original footswitch as well (although I never used it), and original Fender speaker (not the JBL).

All in all it's a honest clean Fender sounding amp, better than the new deluxes + princetons IMHO, for a good price: £500 delivered

Thanks

Pictures .. at the moment it has a Jensen speaker but I'll replace it with the original
