SOLD - that was quick - gone in around two hours. Thanks for the PMs and the interest (I hope that I've responded to everyone)

I've had this for just two weeks, and I think it's around 6 weeks old in total. It's remarkable - a stunning hand-built exact replica of a '60P from BC's Wes Steed. Slab Brazillian rosewood board, Lollar vintage P pickup, nitro finish, light relic, flame maple neck, pickguardian celluloid guard - just phenomenal in every detail. Enough hyperbole. I should have know better - I can't resist a gorgeous bass and I'm easily seduced. I only really play medium and short-scale basses because of a wrist rotation issue. Why on earth I thought I could play this is a mystery. I bought the bass from Kevin Lindsay (the original purchaser) for £900 - which was an absolute bargain! - and it will come with the covers and a very nice, robust ABS case that were supplied from new. I'm selling at £875 just to get the bass out of my office and thus stop the daily reminders of my own stupidity. If there's one good thing to come from all this, trying to play it has made my short-scales feel like toys.

Collection in central Manchester is much preferred. I can ship at cost within the UK (but it will take a day or two to arrange). I may even be able to deliver to London Euston (maybe next Monday or Tuesday, 5th or 6th March) with a contribution to train fare (though travel is by no means assured I'm afraid - a lot is work-contingent).
