Who's Played a Univox Hi-Flyer?

I'm shopping one locally (here in the US), and it's missing a neck pickup, which is ok- I can find a replacement. But I'm just kicking this around, wondering if you've played one: How did you like it, what did you find it was suited for/when do you pick up yours? What's the sound tend to cater to?
