mwnci Posted November 12, 2011 Share Posted November 12, 2011 Hi there, hope someone can help me, i was thinking of getting an Orange Terror 1000, and then getting a cab, i like the look of an Ampeg with a 15" speaker, but i dont understand the difference between the SVT-15E and the B115E. The SVT-15E is from Ampeg's 'classic' series, which is their high end gear, whereas the B115 is the budget equivalent. Both cabs are rated 200w at 8ohms. The SVT-15 comes with two 1/4" jacks and Speakons inputs, however the B115 only has 1/4" jacks. In terms of tone, I've used both and I much perefer the SVT-15E. All round, I beleive it to be the better of the two, however I'm sure you'll find opinion is divided on this. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
