b assingear Posted September 2, 2011 Share Posted September 2, 2011 Ive got a rockbass streamer that plays very nicely . better than many of the real Warwicks I have used , but the active pups just dont seem to have a happy medium -- all bottom or all top . Ive tried running them passive and its better but still not right . I was thinking of using a passive humbucker (which Ive been happy with on other basses) . just wondered if anybody else had tried this before I start chewing holes and what the outcome was ? .
