Pimping a Precision - ideas wanted

At some point in the next 12 months I'm likely to attack my Squier Affinity with the view of personalising it, but I'm stuck for ideas of what to do with it. I like the idea of ashtrays, but basically, I'l love to see loads of pictures of endless colours and re-modellings, but I've not been able to find much on google. It all seems to be sunbursts, black, white and red with occasional changing of scratchplate colours.

I don't want to copy anything particularly, just want a clear idea of what's possible and possibly a history of what models of P have appeared over the decades.

I've pimped an affinity p-special, but not done anything visual with it shirt of changing the scratchplate for a 3 ply one. Stuck a bad-ass, Wizard Thumper and 84, and new pots/tone cap in and copper shielded the cavity and it sounds and plays great. It's a great project, have fun - can't wait to see the end result :)
