mojobass Posted May 8, 2011 Share Posted May 8, 2011 (edited) ive got a bass witha set of SD quater pounders p/j config, and the dedicated SD 3 band eq for passive pups, my question is... i fancy changing the pups to active ones (EMG or status) but can i use active ones with this eq system, I mean i know it says designed for use with passive pups but is there that much of a difference? would i loose/gain any difference out of the eq?
