playbass Posted April 2, 2011 Share Posted April 2, 2011 (edited) According to the people at the Manuel Rodriguez factory in the USA this guitar is a hand made guitar built in the Rodriguez workshops in Almansa 22 years ago! This handmade guitar has a solid Cedar top and I think the sides and back are mahogany. I think the fretboard is ebony. This is the older version of the Model B and I have been told that it is of better quality than the current Model B. I will also include a brand new set of D'Addario strings. There is a 'ding' between the bridge and the edge of the guitar which can be seen in the photos. There are other small ones from general use but they don't affect the guitar's playability or tone, the guitar is not 'mint' but it has a great action and sounds very warm and resonant. Any musician would be proud to own this. It is not the same as the current model B guitar.
