Here's a quote from the master:
Your Bogart is from the first production year, 1993 - we used that kind of tuner/bridge only in this year. The preamp was an exclusive SKC design, made by Noll Electronics here in Germany. The BB2 preamp is a 2-band passive tone control with an active booster build in; there are no IC´s in it, only transistors. So the sound is very smooth and the noise level is relatively small. We still have some of this fine preamps here.

The pickups are the Bartolini 9W4 quadcoils, so they do have one coil for every string. They are sounding similar to the later used Bartolini 9J´s. The 9W´s can only be used single or in a matching set. They will not work i.e. in combination with a single coil or regular dual coil humbucker. Bartolini discontinued the 9W series in the later 90´s.
From what I've understood, the Bartolini J's are pretty scarce nowadays, and can easily fetch around 150-200$ at ebay.
Graphite neck, bullet proof. 34" scale, 24 frets. The neck profile could be described as "Status-Graphite" :)
2011 LIST PRICE 1955€ (yeah, like that'd make a difference anyways..)

I'm located in Finland. I can only take Paypal at the moment, unless you're willing to meet face to face here somewhere near here.

PRICE - HOW ABOUT 800 POUNDS INCLUDING SHIPPING? IS THAT REASONABLE? Will include registered & insured shipping.

Too many basses and guitars = no money. Therefore I would prefer to sell the bass. BUT. There are always exceptions.
5-string basses with 34" scale & 16.5mm + any 4-string with 34" & 18-19mm is what I use.
And by the way, I collect GRAPHITE NECKED INSTRUMENTS, so they're the ones attracting me the most.
I drool over most single-cuts. Did I also mention I love Status basses?

Even though I haven't sold anything here before, I've bought a few things, and I have an ebay account with over 500 positives (name: distributary).

EDIT: Donation will be made if this bass gets sold.

CBEERS!
I hope this is allowed in the rules, but I will also entertain offers under 800 pounds.
But please, no 500£ offers. Why else would they cost 2000€ new? :)
If you want to include some flexibility in the pricing, the usual way is to say "£800 ono". The "ono" is "or near offer".
