funky8884 Posted March 3, 2011 Share Posted March 3, 2011 Hey Guys, I was wondering if anyone knew of a good Amp Repairer in Bristol ? A few weeks ago my 1994 model GK 400RB Head started to distort and loose volume for a moment before returning to normal. It did this a few times over the past 2 months. Today it was distorting on the D note and then it was up to tricks again and losing volume and distorting on all notes. I have changed Cabinets, Guitars, Leads - both guitar and speaker. The pots are all cool and work fine as do the switches. It may be an Output Transistor issue ?? Any help is greatly appreciated.
