Top bloke who was good enough to courier an amp to me even though the advert said collection only (for reference Interparcel.com did a stupidly low rate for an item that weighted in at 30kg and it came with UPS uber quickly too ) I took a flyer, having only recently joined the forum, but also heeded advice in as much as we exchanged numbers, addreses and spoke beforehand, which is about as much as you can reasonably do - in the end you just have to go with your gut and we did the deal. The amp arrived this morning very well packed and even included the purchase receipt for warranty purposes.
