buff Posted November 24, 2010 Share Posted November 24, 2010 I phoned andy about a set for my squier jag, explaining that i found the bass very bright accoustically and slightly muddy lacking definition when plugged in. He advised a thumper for the P pick up and a similar wound one in the J position. Has really transformed the bass, it now has a lovely growl.
