does anyone know where i can lay my hands on a jaw claw for the steinberger bridge on my hohner jack headless bass? (its the bit that holds the string at the bridge) cheers[/quote]
Hi Mate,
I had the same problem as the thread started to slip upon tensioning the string.
I bought a set of 4, they were about £5 each. I shall have a root,as I have them in a jiffy
bag with the delivery note. I can't remember the company name, only they are based in
the West country.
I shall get back to you.
Greg

I had a quick look but could not see any spares. Give them a call.

Hey Greg, thanks very much for that link, i gave them a buzz and they were very helpful, unfortunatly they had about sixteen but have sold them all. They think that they came from a company in Wales and there gonna try to dig out a phone number for me.
I`ll keep you posted, cheers, Roystaan.
