Hello I used to have a Laney RB-5 which was alright till it melted in a fire, now I played on an ashdown EB12 evo ii last night and I really liked it. I should be getting money back from the insurance for my laney and I have a bit more money so i could afford the 12" version, and I was thinking i could put a 2x10 or 1x15 underneath it if we start playing bigger gigs. My question is would I be better of saving up a bit more money and getting the 15"? Is there a noticeable difference using the 15" version? The ashdown is defiantly the amp I want, just I’m a bit of a newbie when it comes to equipment so I’m just not sure how much off a difference there is between them (other than the price) would really appreciate any advice you guys could give me Thanks

hello from widnes near liverpool, just started playing bass, played guitar for a few years. started a band with my mates and we needed a bass player so i decided to do it. i have just bought a Squier Standard P-Bass Special and a laney rb5 amp. quite suprised how good the bass sounds for a relativly cheap one. anyway hello everybody
