ATELIER Z X-44 I'm selling this beautiful Atelier-Z X-44 (a.k.a Xenon Ishikawa signature model) Jazz bass. Imported from Japan 21 frets, 34" It has an ash top over an alder body with a maple neck Colour is a beautiful metallic greenish blue Pickups are Atelier Z JBZ-4 The EQ-XXII Preamp is active with the following configuration: neck vol - bridge vol - treble - bass and adjustable trim pot inside for mids The bridge is Badass II and the tuners are Gotoh GB 528 with an extra Detuner (tuned to low D at the moment) Condition is excellent, only very minor scratches. Pretty light at 4,1kg and is very easy to play with a nice low action. Snappy and strong attack, great for Miller-style slap but also very versatile Includes the original padded Atelier-Z gigbag New price for these (including shipping and import tax) is over £2000. So if you're into the modern "jazz bass on steroids" kind of thing I'd say this is a bargain. More photos on request.
