  1. I love Bergantino and Schroeder cabinets. Naturally this is all a matter of preference and what you're needs and tastes are. Very clear uncluttered low end hi fi sound, the Bergantino is as good as anything I've heard (35 years of bass playing). For a cab that is easy to move around, light, has a great tone character all it's own the Schroeder 212L is amazing. I tend to keep my more favorite cab at my rehearsal space and not move them around except for a really special gig (the Berg) and I keep the Schroeder handy for small and medium gigis where it is just convenient to carry it to the car wtih one hand and have it take up a half of a back seat. I use a MarkBass LMIII and a Passive American Jazz Bass so it is relatively close to your set up. don't get me wrong, the Schro gets deep and clean, just no comparison to the Berg. That being said, it has a great tone and will cut thru very well. It's all personal preference in the end, I happen to love both and have the luxury to be able to choose which for whatever mood or sound I'd prefer for that gig. I also have 2 ampeg cabs, the SVT 410HFL classic and the PR410HLF. the PR is starting to go but in it's heyday I would put it up against the Berg. Amazing room filling clear low end. But it's a monster to carry.
