  3. [quote name='Jase' post='116716' date='Jan 9 2008, 01:12 AM']Thanks Mike, enjoyed Donna Lee :) I can't tell you how many times I've attempted that and had to give up ( as with anything involving Jaco) Cool interpretation! If you don't mind me asking...what sort of practice regime do you have with that type of track, do you study it in sections and put it all together? Just I'd love to be able to get through at least some of it.
    cheers

so he's showing off and its not very musical, so what? It wasnt great to listen to but it didn't offend me in any way and certainly wasn't drivel. The only way I'd have that big a problem with it is if maybe I secretly wished I had that level of teqnique

Envy can be a terrible thing

  5. Ive finally managed to get the 4 finger picking thing down (sort of) but really need a ramp to make things easier. Ideally I want a permanent one made by a luthier to go between the pickups on my 4 string thumb bass, but im not really shure who to ask?

Anyone had any ramps made for them and if so who by???

    Cheers

    Bob

  6. ive got some in a P i made myself, but its fretless with nylon strings. They sound phat and warm but most of that will come from the bass/strings so i don't really know. Erm good value for money and loads better than the unbranded stock p ups that were in before.

    Sorry this isnt very helpful

By the way check on ebay, i picked mine up for about £15
