Hey guys !!!
Just signed up to this site !
I have both, the GT-10B and the ME-90B.
I used the GT-10B for years, then I got the Boss GT 1000 Core and that's great, and I put together a great pedal board after I found a Boss BCB-1000 suitcase pedal board for 1/2 price.
I bought the ME-90B around the same time I got the Meris Enzo X and Future Impact V4 VIP pedals along with a Pog 3, so the ME-90B sat in my music room on a shelf until Christmas 2025.
I'm REALLY HAPPY I pulled it out and finally played it and learned how it works !!!!!
(It didn't take long)
I've been putting sounds on the Boss Tone Studio, and hope more people do too.
It really is a great pedal !!!
Now of course it can't do what the Meris Enzo X and certainly not the Future Impact, or the Boss SY-200, but, for a lot of our songs, the ME-90B has very useful sounds, and the presets I set up are great !!!
The GT-10B is really heavy...lol
But it's definitely still a fantastic pedal, even in 2026.
I do want to do a side by side, which I haven't done yet, but if you guys want, I'll get to it sooner then later if yer interested ?
The app for the ME-90B makes it easier to program, although you can easily do it all on the board itself.
It's so fun coming up with crazy sounds though, which I originally loved about the GT-10B.
My GT-1000 Core does sound so good, and I'm used to it, and it's nice and small, so I'm on the fence on what I want to do because I have most of our songs flushed out with sounds I made from the synth pedals.
It is crazy that the ME-90B comes decently close to "Some" of the sounds from all those other pedals though.
In a pinch the ME-90B would be fine and it would just sound different, but the idea of the sounds would be there....well for some of the songs.
We're trying to do a techno type of thing, which is where the Future Impact comes in along with the MXR Synth, Enzo X and SY-200.
I guess I can just bring those pedals out with the ME-90B, but I'd have to put them in a different case, because I don't think the ME-90B would fit with the rest my pedals in the case I just got, so I'd have to decide what to do.
After 2 back surgeries, weight is a huge factor as well, which bites the root...lol
Anywho, sorry, I know this was about the GT-10B...lol
I guess if youz have questions, please let me know, I'll see what I can answer, because I'd like to turn ol girl back on !!!
In previous questions, I think some asked if it's worth it to upgrade to the ME-90B from the GT-10B, and I'd right now say definitely, but I didn't do a side by side, but I really enjoy using the ME-90B, and it sounds excellent !!!!!
A wonderful all in one multi effects pedal.
It has great tones from enough amps & cabs, has pretty much every effects you can think of, and it has a wah pedal you can program pretty much anything to, and it has synth sounds that when mixed with any of the other effects, creates a world of great sounds, and it has an XLR out.
Oh and it's lighter, oh and has a looper !!!
Hehehehehehe
Besides special synth pedals, I can't imagine needing anything else, and in most people's cases, it's more then ever needed, and super intuitive to use !!!
Again, hit me up if you have any questions.
Have a great day !!!
