For the true p-bass sound, IMHO.
Replaced "stock" pups for my 2002 MIM p-bass, and yeah, as good as the stock pups are, these are so smooth.
I have SQ QP's in another p-bass (!), but nothing matches the Fender tone.
I'm going to have a luthier build me a dupe Fender p-bass, and I already specified 63 PV pups.
And he'll recess the hi-mass bridge, similar to the G&L, to avoid the bow & arrow string height issue.
