Hi Neal I knew Brian a little in the 1980s as he was a good friend of Simon Culling who I was at poly with. I was very sorry to hear Brian had passed away. So sorry for your loss. I met him several times in Liverpool, London and Nottingham. He seemed like a really nice person. I remember one night cruising round Liverpool in a brown Ford Granada with Brian at the wheel. I assume it was your dad’s car? The same night at the Everyman Bistro I remember Pete Wylie pleading with your brother to let him join the Last Chant. No idea what that was about! I lost contact with Simon Culling not long after as he dropped out of poly. I heard he had passed away, too. He was an unusual character! Anyway, very sorry to hear about Brian. Liam
