1. Yes, you are correct, Eden never made a head version of the Metro. This is one that someone obviously converted at some point for what ever reason.
It is exactly the same as a normal Metro, bar the missing speakers and the fact that it is in a new head case. The case is a sturdy, wooden, carpet covered affair with rubber feet on the bottom and a proper flightcase handle on one end.

It's a great amp, I just fancy something new as I mainly use this as a backup to my SVT as I don't need a really clean and nice amp any more.

Not looking to sell, just to trade. Other heads only though please. Either valve or SS, must be pretty high powered though.
    Any offers/suggestions welcome though.

Apologies for the rather poor photos, they are all I have at the moment. I can take better ones should you require.

  2.
I think it cures the feedback just because the cab is not so near the body of the bass rather than because of lost frequencies. 6db is quite a lot though.

The cab is a metre off the stage, which would give a freq centre of 85.75hz, is that right?

I wonder if the problem might have been made worse as I tend to eq out a lot of mids and boost the bass, leaving the amp with a lot of work to do.

I might be able to get away with raising the cab somewhat less; i'll maybe try that.
If you're only using it for personal monitoring, just re-eq it so you can hear it? Also try something a bit more stable than a keyboard stand. Especially with lower frequencies you want the driver to be as secure as possible to maximise output.

    This.

Plus that parallel cable would be a dodgy cable as you'd need to make a half Y-split kinda affair. So it's going to have 3 ends. I definitely wouldn't trust it with any of my amps, far too easy to short out.

  4. My bas are currently tuned to CGCF, why's it so weird? It's just drop D down a step?

I'm using an SVT2 and an old 70s Ampeg 2x15 with Celestions in it. Handles it fine but I like it to sound like its driven to hell. Fits the music better. :)
Got an Eden head/Ashdown MAG410 cab setup that I use for another band that handles low A pretty well too.

In either case you're never going to hear the fundamental on the C or the A very well out of a bass amp. Should be there through the DI signal though, but whether the PA goes that low is another thing entirely.

  5. Looks like some kind of Fulltone, an MXR M80, Boss Graphic, tuner, delay, noise suppressor, plus the vocal effect thing and reverb? Also an EHX POG and Digitech looper/delay and a danelectro pedal.

You can find the exact ones yourself. :)

I thought it was just the same as a "low pass" as in just an EQ that cuts off everything above a certain point, and you can change that point with an EXP pedal. I know there are differences between the rate of cut-off (no idea what the proper name is) but they don't have resonant filters or anything.

Clearly I have no idea about electronic music. I use my wah to create the kind of effect I thought we were talking about, where you go from a very dull sound and gradually fade to a bright sound.
Very similar ideas and effects, but its like saying all distortion pedals are the same and trying to encompass distortion/OD and fuzz all together.

Wah is actually a band pass, so it cuts off frequencies below and above the point you set. It works well on guitar since a guitar is mainly midrange anyway. A low pass filter will do the same kind of thing, it just keeps all the low frequencies in, hence being better for bass.

The rate of cut off is the slope, then you have resonance which adds a boost/peak at the cutoff frequency. After that theres all the madness of adding LFO's a trigger that senses your playing.

    Was just about to say....
doesn't the M13 have a wah model you could set to a LPF?
It does but I've tried them before, it just doesn't work though.

I'm assuming you're getting all the synthy noises from the M13, in which case I'd definitely start with the MF101, just make sure you have an expression pedal or four to go with it. :)
