    I used to take lessons from Randy back in the mid-80’s on Ling Island, NY. He had the Explorer-style Fodera pictured above , but mostly played a 60’s purple-finished Fender Jazz bass. He was an amazing player. I think all the other basses shown and mentioned came a bit later.
