    I don't believe so - I have added the specs from the original seller (and I think you check on Fender Japan too), but it is listed as: Pickups: Hybrid II Custom Voiced Single Coil Jazz Bass (Bridge), Hybrid II Custom Voiced Single I don't know if these are ceramic (I assume not, but they do sound great either way!)

    Bumping this to note that although collection preferred, I can ship. If so, will send DHL insured with an extra cost of £35. Will need to purchase a proper bass guitar shipping box and packing so will mean shipping is somewhat delayed.

    I would say that I would also not usually be a fan... all my other instruments are some version of natural finishes/sunbursts. But for some reason the piano black on the smaller than usual jazz bass body, with the dark rosewood board, mint pick guard... looks excellent! It's also lightweight and plays great! What more could you ask for...

    Fender Made in Japan Short Scale Jazz Bass, Piano Black. Awesome short scale bass, only selling to reduce number of basses and unfortunately not getting much use. I can't see any scratches etc on it. Imported from Japan in September 2024, around £850 new including import duties. Can include the Fender gig bag it shipped with. Price now dropped to £580.
