  1. Try a P bass 👍
  2. I kind of agree with you but I would take even a step forward and say an arena type concerts you can hear the bass drum loud and clear but the bass guitar gets buried for some reason. A few years back I saw the who right after John Entwistle died and Pino Palladino took his place. It was such a waste as I could not hear anything he was playing over the drums.
  3. I’m 58 years old and started playing bass when I was 15 I think and just learned that volume reggae trick maybe a year ago. It totally works.
  4. Or in ear monitors. Lino’s P sounds so good!
  5. Wrong, I’d rather play a Squire P bass than your Sadowsky and just plug in and not have to turn a million knobs to get it to sound like a p bass. 🤣😂🤣
  6. I have owned many jazz basses over the years including Sadowsky jazz basses and I’ll say it again, jazz basses sound thin compared to a P bass.
  7. I think a Jazz bass sounds good when I’m playing alone but in a band setting I find the P bass just sounds so much better. Jazz bass always sound thin in comparison to a p bass. No matter what bass I buy and fall in love with once the honeymoon is over I always go back to my P bass.
