Gave Chelsea Monday a listen and worked out the opening riff (on guitar). Has the feel of a great finger exercise. Thanks for sharing paul_5.

I am not a Bass player but since this is a Bass forum.. curious what Marillion song/songs have your favorite bass playing. I’’ll start with “Just for the Record” (Clutching at Straws)

No offense to SH who seems like a really nice guy, but I made up my mind some time ago that both the band and Fish brought out the best in each other… musically at least. The incredible song arrangements inspired Fish to write some of his best lyrics. And because the lyrics (and stories) were so good it made the arrangements sound even better. Neither have been as good in my opinion since parting ways, even though I still like and appreciate their talents separate of each other.
