Hi, I play a Spector Euro 4 LX & an Ibanez SRT 800 DX & find the EMG pickups work fine with the different rigs I own. I also play a Cort A5 Plus SC (5 string) & the Bartolini pickups work well. I am trying to source A 5 string set of stainless flat wound Fender long scale lights (0.045 - 0.130). I'm currently using Ernie Ball 45-130s (flat wound) but prefer the Fenders that I have on both of my 4 strings. My local says there is a 12 month wait for the Fenders & I can't find any online. Suggestions for another brand that may be closer to the Fender characteristics are welcome. I started using the Fenders due to peripheral nerve damage from chemotherapy & as my finger tips are still problematic I wish to continue with them. Cheers and hoping for feedback, Cookie
