KK baby bass, Are they still making instruments?

Hi Everyone, I have one of KK's early basses. I hadn't been playing it for a few months and when I plugged it in I wasn't getting much volume through my amp. I tried it on 2 amps with the same result. My other electric uprights are fine. Any ideas for what may have happened? Thanks,
