hi i'm trying to work out what strings horace panter from the specials is using these days.i believe he used flats(probably rotosound)in the early days,but for the current tour he's using strings with light/medium blue silk at both ends.they dont appear to be chromes(silk is lighter than chromes).do rotosound do any flats with blue silk?also,if he's using rounds,does anyone have a photo of the silk on swing bass nickel,which i believe is blue.alternatively,which other brands might they be?i'm just forming a ska band,and i like the sound he has on some live recordings i have(wish i had his gibson thunderbird,that would help!)any suggestions greatly appreciated thanks billy pilgrim
