G'day. Got some gigs with a theatre show and they don't use on stage backline, just pod pros into the desk. I don't really need all the amp types and effects as I like one tone. What is out there as a quality versatlie alternative? J

The U.K's top Bee Gees tribute show "JIVE TALKIN'" are currently auditioning for a BASS PLAYER to join their existing show as of 2010. The show takes in all the greatest hits of the Brothers Gibb and plays to packed theatre audiences all over the country and abroad. As of 2010, the show will be extending its repertoire to a 2 hour Bee Gees show, a 2 hour ABBA show and a 2 hour mixture show showcasing the hits of both in one amazing show. The band have been touring since the beginning of 2008 and are already one of the biggest draws on the U.K tribute scene. The successful auditionee will ideally be based near Bristol for ease of rehearsals and will able to pick up a large volume of work relatively quickly as the date sheet for 2010 is already very busy. Thanks for the posts, guys. Apologies if you have not recieved replies from the management. They are overseeing the complete running of the new show. No excuse I know but auditions will be held this week for anyone who is interested. The shows start on the 21st of this month. As you say we are ideally looking for someone in the local are (Bristol/West) but are open to auditions from all. I will be contacting all those that replied today. Thanks
