YET I STILL scraped the logo off & replaced it with Fender, from one of those Dymo Tape things 

 

Hello hello, that's called theft and robbery. You, ll make a good business man but a lousy musician and human being. Even Tokai put their real name on the headstock. Take a Leaf... You should do the same.

Meanwhile "Back to the future" (July 6 /2023) as the Futurama Precision and Jazz bass proclaim. Im off in an hour or two to pick up a 2nd hand jazz versión of one of these basses, for €75! Ive only seen photoraphs but how far wrong can you go for 75 euros?!!. I know my basses and this is a lake placid blue Jazz bass copy. If it said Fender on the hedstock Id have no reason to doubt it. I own a Fender Precision and this guitar has Fender written all over it. Top to toe. To be honest everything about it, on looks, says Tokai. Ive never never heard of a Tokai Futurama jazz bass but strange things happen in the guitar world. Its a 2012 or 2013.I report back in a few hours, after it's had it's médical through the bass amp.
