Nobody? OK. Well I've worked out the first part, but can't really hear what notes are being played when it drops down to the F. Any help from someone with better ears than me (that's probably all of you!) would be much appreciated.

Can anyone tell me if a bass tab exists for 'Melting Pot' by Booker T & The MGs. Been searching the interweb but can't find anything other than guitar transcriptions. Thanks Z

Hi, New here, and new to playing bass. Unfortunately funds are tight so I can’t really afford regular lessons. Can anyone recommend a good instructional book/dvd. There’s lots of them about but I’d like to save time and money by going for a good one. I've played guitar when I was younger so I may not be at the ABSOLUTE beginner level. I’m mainly interested in playing funk/hip hop style bass. I make hip hop beats as a hobby and would like to be able to lay down my own basslines. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
