    From the information on Artec's homepage however it says that the Q value (bandwidth) is only adjustable between 4 to 7, which would be a relatively narrow bandwidth.

    I know at least that for general tone shaping I would have found a Q value that could be adjusted between 0.5 to 4 much more useful.

    Good to know, thank you!

    Don't think I've posted an updated version since adding my PSU, but I definitely think a three-rail board might be on my Christmas list as the number of affordable two-rail boards with PSU holders under them seems pretty low.

    You could take a look at the Harley Benton SpaceShip series, e.g. the 50M (505 mm x 175 mm x 38 mm)?

  3. When I was on the market for a looper I was interested in the:

    - NUX NDL-5 JTC Drum & Loop Pro (around 150 € with drum loops and 6 hours recording time)

    - Lekato guitar looper (around 60 € with 3 loops and memory up to 10 minutes total, with tuner)

    I don't own them, and I find the second one only on Amazon.

  4. For a three button setup I'd go:

    Zoom B3n (I own it): cheap multifx, with some patience you can do more than what you are asking for;

    Tech21 SansAmp PSA 2.0 (I own it): fully analogue, already suggested, now cheap, not really an EQ pedal, I suggest you to give a look to the Tech21 bass presets demo.

    Two Notes ReVolt Bass Preamp: I don't own it, but it seems to fit your request.

    i'm trying to figure out if the series/parallel switch would help with the phase issue

    cheers.

    The phase isssue is managed with internal switches (you need to open the pedal).

    The series/parallel switch is used to determine how the input signal is routed through the A and B FX loops: in SERIES the FX loops are cascaded into one another, in PARALLEL mode the input signal is routed to the A and B FX loops simultaneously and you can mix them at the output.
