You'll have to go wired as there's too much latency on Bluetooth. Your practice amp should have a headphone jack.
If you want a set that give a very honest and natural bass sound then I'd recommend Beyerdynamic DT770pro. They're really comfortable (big ear cups that cover your whole ear and velour pads which aren't hot and sweaty like some pleather types), light and the headband isn't too tight. Reasonably priced too!
Cheers Ped. Never even thought about this . Wired it is then longest lead i can find

Thanks for your input have looked at and read some poor reviews on a few cheap end brands yamaha ibanez and squirer are the main 3 i have been viewing im a lefty so selection is a bit harder choice wise
Ibanes can buy new for £250 ish squirer £370. Yamaha a bit more
Would love a preloved one but at this time it may have to be new can't see anything within travel range but will keep a look out
You know of any other buying sites i can look at cheers

If you buy a second hand bass, you should btw, spend £40 having it set up. Any local guitar/bass shop will be able to do this in house or recommend a local tech. Have it set up to be easy to play and your initial learning will not be unnecessarily impeded.
Welcome and good luck!!
Thanks. That was my idea too being a novice

May I add the usual comment... Have you tried to play a right-handed bass at all..? Being left-handed does not automatically oblige one to use a 'lefty' instrument. Many Lefties get on perfectly well playing 'righty' instruments (guitar, bass, accordion, piano...). Half of our family are 'lefty' (Our father was a 'hard' lefty...); I have a lefty brother that took to my righty guitars, and was much better than I was, much faster. It's not the case for everyone, I know, but if you're starting from zero, it's worth at least trying a righty bass first.
Just my tuppence-worth.Yeah feela proper wierd
