I loved his Super P in a four , but it was just beyond my snack bracket at the time.

I picked up a fiver some years back but didn’t make the transition.
Still a four string guy.

I have a regular Ray 3 band that’s about twenty years old ,I don’t really compare it to other basses , it’s got a unique thing going on . And I like it.
I usually gig with something that’s more thumpy , but for home practice that Ray stays beside the couch. -
We had to walk through the snow to get to school , uphill … both ways.

There’s some amazing clips of fairly young players with great feel , and a joy in playing , she’s a bit busy here but the sense of sheer fun is infectious.

Those are really nice shortscale basses.

The gnome is on my radar as something to check out , I’m pretty well amped up , but more likely to see an amp than a bass show up on the doorstop. No local dealers.
edit
it appears there are no Warwick dealers in Canada

It’s been a while , but I’ve played a ton of bike rallies. Never seen any problems , but they self discipline , if anyone acts like an ***hole the hive quickly steps in.
I’ve only been told that , never seen any issues.

I should sell a dozen or so.

Old Pbass guy that loves a nice Ric and acquired many of the classics over the years , somehow got hooked on Danelectros. Don’t know just how it happened but I’m ok with it.
They weigh next to nothing , sound great and are a heck of a lot of fun to play.
Also developing a thing for Gibson short scales.

I loved his playing both with Canned Heat but especially John Mayall. I hadn’t realised until reading it recently that he had worked on some of the Wrecking Crew recordings - I believe Max Bennett also did.
Check out the Hollywood Fats stuff he did , some more things have been surfacing but they just released one album , and it became such a major influence for so many. Deadly little band.
Their classic take of Rock This House …

Welcome Urko , I hope you’ll find what you need to get that amp going. Trace amps are well worth the repair, just make sure whoever does the work is qualified.

I loved Larry Taylor’s Hollywood Fats period!

I watch the local kijiji site like a hawk and have noticed the price creep in private online sales and regular retail , oh there’s the occasional deal , those tend to go quickly , but a surprising amount of things do not seem to be selling right now. I keep seeing the same items being relisted . Usually without any drop in price. And at prices I consider high.
I ‘m glad to think there’s nothing I need.-

Looking forward to throwing the stuff in the car and driving downtown tonight.
Harvest Moon weekend , Halifax is a University town and the students are back. Thankfully the old dive I’m in tonight is slightly off the beaten track , and the students will be elsewhere.
We’ll see what the night brings. -
There’s been times I wish the marketplace was a little closer.
Good luck trading ,mac101.

Interest rates have just jumped here , so the cost of debt will rise.
I’m thankful the mortgage is paid.

When I first went to Bergantino it was a revelation.
Good cabs can make a huge difference.
