😀the 57 is a good bass but IMHO ‘58 is a better bass and period correct bass.’58 sounds way better. pick ups are way superior,it’s like a custom shop bass. That’s why they discontinued it in less than 3yrs. Neck is thicker so more tone. flash lacquer and neck and body dimensions are perfect and it’s lighter in weight than ‘57. I know that they both comes with Alder and Ash Body. if I still owned ‘57 I would just change the pickups and maybe the electronics.
