There is a 14 day return from date of sale under Consumer Regulations for businesses for delivered items (this wasn’t) but this is outside that window anyway (again if I wanted to be an arse, I’m not Andertons lol).
If you're operating as a business subject to the Consumer Rights Act you should be aware that that legislation effectively states (at Sections 19(14) and 19(15) to be precise) that if a fault is discovered within six months of purchase then the item is deemed to have been sold in that condition unless proven otherwise. In other words they could potentially come after you to replace, repair or refund it unless you have demonstrable proof that the faults weren't there when the bass was sold. If they're trying to con you with a video of a bass which is not the one you sold then you should tell them to jog on.

Bit late as our rehearsal was a week ago Sunday. We had two new songs to learn, Shout and Somewhere In My Heart, and we pretty much nailed it. Hoping to get another rehearsal in before our gig, but it will depend on how Mrs asingardenof recovers from her c-section. Having a rehearsal two days after baby 2 was born wasn't the plan, as the due date was two weeks afterwards.
Before we started our keyboardist, who has suffered from a few health issues (both mental and physical) mentioned that he would see how the next couple of gigs went before deciding whether to pack it in at the end of the year. He has though recently stopped smoking (though started vaping) and was looking better than I've seen him for a while, and he seemed to be having a great time, so we'll see how it goes. I'm not sure what that would mean for the band, because he's a founding member from many years ago, as well as a friend of the singer and drummist, so I suspect that if he goes then the band will fold. If that does happen I doubt our singist and drummist will be particularly keen to start a new one, so depending on what our guitarist might want to do I could be looking for another band after Christmas. Ho hum.

Played Northern Guitars in Leeds on Friday with Heisenbug. Northern Guitars is a great venue in a busy area of town so plenty of passers by stopping and coming in. Crowd seemed to appreciate our all originals set. Chasing after more bookings now...
Check out the crazy drum kit!
I'd love to play in there, but it's a bit cramped for us and they don't really want covers bands. Ho hum.

I would love to be able to have a go at playing through a rig like that, just for the experience. The great thing in your situation was you didn’t have to do the load-in and out! Result!
Our rehearsal space has Ashdown Rootmaster 500 heads through ABM 8x10 cabs. It's awesome.

Current song learning for the band is Shout by Tears For Fears. Not massively complicated, but a nicely tricky little solo in the bridge makes it fun.

Option 2 for sure. My amp hardly ever needs updating significantly but our guitarist needs to adjust for each venue, sometimes several times during the set but at least the base volume is about right.

While I agree with the oasis comments, I also have the same issues getting upbeat songs in, or at the moment, any songs! It seems to take forever, I am not sure why most songs cant be done in a week, or maybe two if it is a really tricky one.
I'm not saying that everything by Oasis is a banger because that's demonstrably untrue, however there are some of their catalogue that would be extremely popular were we to play them, however it's just a flat no.

I'm familiar with Pinky & The Brain. I saw a post the other day when someone said that they'd be willing to hear Brain's plans, to which someone astutely responded that at this point they'd be willing to hear Pinky's!

A great way to lose customers, eh?
I don't do online shopping, so don't know whether it's possible, but can you specify no substitutions when you order?
You can, and you can always opt to not accept them at the point of collection/delivery whereupon the person bringing the stuff will invariably process your refund on the spot.

Pretty good rehearsal on Sunday (yes, I'm a bit late), and I think we have our two new tunes almost nailed. We had a bit of a chat about more new tunes but I don't think certain members of the band have much ambition in terms of what we should add to our set list. A number of absolute bangers (e.g. Go Your Own Way, or anything by Oasis) have been dismissed out of hand because the singer is vehemently opposed, so we're reduced to now learning a couple of plodders by Tears For Fears and Somewhere In My Heart by Aztec Camera, none of which I think will exactly get people in a party mood. Ah well, I'll have to put more effort in, because the last song I proposed (Two Tribes) is now a well-established crowd and band favourite.
The seeming tradition of arranging rehearsals on holidays continues, as after having one on Easter Sunday the next date we can all do before our next gig in August is on Fathers Day.

Anyone read the replies ?
Post #1 says Reverb bought by Fender's owner's Servco r. What follows is a whole load of waffle where folk think Servco buying Reverb means they have FMIC running it, one eejit even says he's glad no generic private equity firms are in control.
Guess joined up thinking is a thing of the past 🤣
*gestures vaguely at Brexit, Trump, etc.*

Pretty much like online shopping from supermarkets, order lemons or lemon juice and if they`re out of stock they send lemon scented bleach.
I once ordered sour cream from Tesco and they didn't have it in stock, so instead they substituted a £10 bottle of Pinot Grigio. It would have been rude to send it back, frankly.

Research is not a strong point in their gear videos… lots of mistakes that a quick pre-record check would have avoided.
However they seem like scholars compared to people in the Andertons videos, where they didn't even know how to pronounce Sadowsky for example.

As a current owner of a Sadowsky, the preamp feels special because it boosts in ways that don't feel oppressive. When I boost the treble, the bass sounds sweeter and more modern, but I don't fear it getting "brittle" or harsh. When I boost the bass it just sounds bigger, but not boomy and I don't lose any of the articulation. I just get to decide how forward in the mix I'm going to sound, and it just feels very well thought out frequency response-wise
This is also the case when it's in other basses too, it does the same sort of thing in my Sire

A fellow named Jason Newsted played a Sadowsky during the peak of his bands fame. That band was named Metallica.
Also Tal Wilkenfeld, who took one of the most famous bass solos in the past 15 years with Jeff Beck, and also has played with Incubus. Darryl Jones, Marcus Miller, Verdine White, Roscoe Beck.
The last few times I've seen Tal playing she's been using a P-bass in preference to the Sadowsky

This range will be competing with Sire and the Sadowsky MetroExpress range primarily, and I'm not sure what these bring to the table to make them stand out other than being a more recognisable brand to muggles.

I'm a worryingly short distance down the coast in Cleveleys, just have rogue mobility scooters and the resident seagull gangs to deal with here.
My relatives live in Poulton and we go there quite often. It's a shame the café on the prom has gone downhill now despite its Star Wars fame.

Well it's quite near Merseyside, if you own a boat or can swim with your bass strapped to your back it might be doable.
But yeah, although folk from Lytham don't like the fact it is just down the road from Blackpool.
Having relatives in the area surrounding Blackpool I don't think many of them are particularly happy with their proximity to Blackpool
