Price of valves has gone up since, but they are full of Ruby Tube Chinese KT88s, oft badged Trace Elliot.

If it is being shipped, be sure to get the KTs removed and packed safely. There is room inside for bubbled valves to be packed neatly.
Another good idea is to have a wooden wedge put into th espace between the top of each transformer and the cabinet. if hte amp is dropped on its end, then there will be hope for the chassis. Seen a few 'leaners' in my time...

Just out of interest was the V8 all it's craiged up to be?

I've just been advised by Andy on here with the V4 that I'm selling the rig too cheap so I'mn going to take advice before I sell it.

I bought this rig complete with flightcases about six years ago for just short of £600 and haven't seen many about so the easy option for me is to put it on ebay and then it goes for what people want people think it's worth.

I guess if it came to it I'd be looking for about £200 for the cab and £400 for the amp, as that's about what I paid for it and I've since had it serviced and new pre-amp tubes fitted.

Ideally I'd like to sell the rig complete. Do people think that's a fair price or not?

Anyone fancy making me an offer before this goes on Ebay?

My V-Type 600H and 1048 cab currently up for trade on here.

Will probably end up with an Ampeg and end up wishing I hadn't got rid of the Trace, the pull of a full valve head is just too much though!

I have an Ampeg Svt 450 head playing through a trace 300 watt cab.

At about 60% volume the amp keeps cutting out with the peak led lighting up, I am using a P-Bass with active pick-ups.

The svt also has a limiter.

Has anyone got any ideas please?

Well the flightcases do have the Robbie Williams logo as below but the colours are reversed as it's white spray-paint on the black flightcase.

Oh crap I don't know what it's worth really and was planning trade it.

What's the consensus on what it's worth?

Bought this bad boy off of Robbie Williams' Bass Player (hence the RW logo sprayed all over the Flight Cases ).

It's a 600 watt head with valve pre-amp and MOSFET power stage output.

As you can see in the pic's the accompanying 1048H is flightcased also.

It was manufactured in 1996 and has had a recent service.

Looking for a trade really, would like an all valve head in future so maybe part-ex either way.

If I get no interest it will be going on evil bay some time in the next few weeks.

What is the general opinion of this guitar?

Just putting feelers out at the minute not in any rush to sell.
