For sale my Marshall DBS7215 2x15 600 watt bass cab. I have used it with a matching Marshall VBA400 valve amp, as pictured, which I have sold seperately.

This is a great alternative to a 6x10 or 8x10 and gives much better low end than the Ampeg 8x10 I used previously.

It is generally in good condition, although it has had a new piece of tolex applied on one size by it's previous owner. The castors are also in good working order.

    Collection is from Leeds.

    Looking for £150

    Specs:

    7215 Cabinet
    2x15 (600 Watts RMS, 4 Ohms).

Unbeatable for great all round bass response with particular emphasis on the low end. The Model 7215 includes drive units designed to achieve superb, high sensitivity bass response at the heart of your cabinet system, but with a complementary balanced high end which will provide enough presence and attack to allow it to be used alone.

    Dimensions (mm): H 1000 x W 698 x D 489

    Weight: 64Kg

  2.
for some reason the blue one reminded me of

and yes i know that the basses are totally different... just that music came to my mind when i saw the bass...

    so... GET THE BLUE
They are both USA not tributes and aren't cheap so I can only get one, head says red one, heart says blue one!

  3. Have been offered two very different G&L JB-2's, which seem excellent alternatives to Fender Jazz's.

    The first is a hollow-body

and the second is standard body with a great metallic blue finish complete with Nordstrand pick-ups

Can only afford one and leaning towards the solid-body even though the hollow would be more sought after I think

    Both cost the same...

    Any advice?
Looking at a USA precision active deluxe special with the double humbucker on the bridge, appears to be in mint condition (plastic film still on scratch plate). Made around 2006. Anyone hazard a guess at value? I'm not sure they still make these, the recent ones seem to be MIM with a single jazz type PU on the bridge.
I bought this guitar in mint condition about a year ago, for £600 and sold it 6 months later for about the same amount. Great guitar, if it wasn't for me having to cut my collection down I would have kept it.

    Enjoy
Glad to hear your back is better Francis!

Have you sorted a replacement amp yet?

Further to your thoughts on upgrading the speakers on the Marshall cab, I have done a little research on the matter.

There is a line of thought that indicates unless you are playing stadiums or outdoor venues sometimes it is better to use less efficient speakers. Especially with a 400 watt valve amp playing medium sized indoor venues The output of the valves is absorbed less efficiently and therefore you work the valves without making peoples ears bleed. What do you think?
