Just bought a Korg DT10 tuner from Adam.
Smooth transaction, pedal arrived safely and is working fine.
Good comms and good business all round.
Cheers

Just bought a Tonerider JB pick-up from Pete, which arrived safely yesterday.
Swift, efficient business, no messing about...the way it should be.

Morning, is this still for sale please?

What didn't you like about the Rivoli...apart from the lack of range and clarity!
They were a bit muddy as stock. I had one in the '80s (a 60s tobacco burst model) which had been modded by a previous owner with a Di Marzio P-Bass PU in the bridge position. It looked a bit s**t but it balanced out the big old mudbucker nicely. Sold it to a bloke in some Devon blues band to pay some bills before going on a Navy holiday....so rock and roll.
Anyway, enough of my rambling memories. GLWTS.

Hmm, might be just what I need for my next project. Is that a straight Fender P or J swap out or does it need routing in a bit?
-
I've got a '98 Sterling in metallic blue, doesn't have the mutes on the bridge.... but definitely the best all rounder I've owned.
Have a bump on me. GLWTS.

Afternoon,
Did this get sold in the end?
-
Or just using your thumb semi-rigid in place of a pick on the faster stuff....I just can't get the feel through a pick, don't know why.
Either way, keeps the rhythm guitarist amused....... "looks so dumb you ****!" Ah well.

Great gig at the Brook in Southampton last week Steve. Top playing all round.
Was that a Lakland you were playing that night?

Nice Beemer.....Wheeler Dealers did an 850i (I think) worth a look on You Tube if you haven't seen it.
Great looking Thunderbird too. GLWTS.

Just bought Si's Ibanez vintage era Roadstar RS900. Deal all went to plan and the bass arrived safely and on time, splendidly packaged. Top chap, deal with confidence.

PS - I also started yet another feedback thread for Si as I didn't find this one first time around! -

If you replace them, pst62's Wilko recommendation is a good one. I put a set on the Squire Jazz VM I use for rehearsals and the thing hardly ever loses tune in transit from house to rehearsal room and once the bass is up to sweaty room temperature, rock solid again. Great value.

Hello Simon PM'd.

One more bump then the stuff goes back into deep storage!

The MM Sub range is incredible value for money. As far as I can tell it's only the paint job that is any different.

PM replied John.

Amen to all of the above. I've got a 1998 model and it's a total revelation. Light, smooth, fast, versatile and cuts right through the mix when (as in my case) you're up against/playing with (delete as applicable) two guitarists with hotted up pieces. Our lead guitarist is always sneaking goes on it during comfort breaks. Build quality is excellent.

Last one before I take it down and build a fretless bitsa jazz bump!

Saturday morning space needed bump.

Ordered a JB volume-blend-tone loom from John. Very high quality piece of work (with clear wiring instructions and miniature screwdriver included in the package) and a very smooth transaction with good communications.
Highly recommended.
