3. Hey Everyone,

My band, We Are Fiction (www.facebook.com/wearefiction), are playing at Camden Barfly with US band Attack Attack! on Wednesday 24th April. If anyone wants to come down and check the show out, just drop your name on here and I can put you on the £5 entry guest list (instead of the £10 ticket cost). I'm heading away on Tuesday 23rd, so just make sure your name is down before then and you'll definitely be on the £5 list.

Here's what we sound like;

Be good to see some Basschat faces.

Cheers,
Ryan

4. Thanks for the kinds words people - and yeah, the Introducing team are great to unsigned bands, would advise everyone to upload to their local teams and just get some friendly chat going on with them.

Congratulations!

My band is looking to step up the promotion for our next single - which Plugger/PR Agency did you use for this?
No plugger or PR for this, was purely through our local (Cambridgeshire) BBC Introducing passing our tracks over to the main Introducing team, and them liking it enough to give us this opportunity - more luck than anything else.

Thanks for the congratulations, we're rather happy about it ourselves.

6. Found out yesterday that one of my band's (We Are Fiction) tracks will be played on daytime BBC Radio 1 each day next week (starting Monday 21st), on different shows throughout the week. This is pretty big for us, being unsigned and self-managed, so any support anyone wants to give by tweeting (@BBCR1), texting (81199) or writing on their Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/bbcradio1), if you like the track would be amazing.

Here's the schedule for what shows it will be on;
Monday: Sara Cox (10:00-12.45)
Tuesday: Greg James (16:00-19:00)
Wednesday: Dev – early b’fast (04:00-06:30)
Huw Stephens’ midweek show (Wednesday Midnight-02:00 Thursday morning)
Thursday; Scott Mills (13:00-16:00)
Saturday: Huw Stephens (13:00-16:00)
Sunday: Gemma Cairney (07:00-10:00)

Here's the song if you wanted to check it out before the radio play.

7. Here's my band's 2 most recent promo videos from our debut album, which should be out early next year. We shot and edited them ourselves, with a budget of about £20 on each video.

Very interested in this, it could kill several birds with one stone for me.

I have a couple of questions:-

Can you select between input 1 and input 2 (doesn't look like it but want to be sure), or is input 1 for channel 1 and input 2 for channel 2 unless you mix in which case input 1 gets preamp 1 & 2 (???).

What is the second power socket for (9v output??)

Ta....
I never used both the inputs, but I think that diagram is wrong - shouldn't say Input Select, it should be Pre Amp select, as it's more of a channel select - but it could work to switch between the 2 inputs (although I thought both inputs were constantly live, never tested that though).

The power output is 9v which is pretty awesome in your board or chain, saves a battery in your tuner or another pedal.

Drop me a message if you're interested and we can sort something out.
