  1. The cull continues…… I may well regret this but I already have a Jazz Bass and am now more of a Precision man, so this beauty is up for sale.

It is in absolutely fantastic condition, plays superbly and sounds great.

The build quality and paint finish is exceptional, Fender really did a great job with these limited edition basses.

The full specs and blurb from Fender are in the photos.

Please feel free to ask any questions or if you would like additional pictures.

  2. I was delighted when Mike got in touch to buy another set of strings from me, as I knew it would be another first class transaction.

Great communications and super fast payment.

    Thanks again Mike!

  3. American Original 50’s Precision in very good overall condition.

There are a few tiny marks and dings but no bare wood showing! The nitrocellulose finish is of course quite prone to picking up nicks and dings.

It has a lovely neck, which shows some nice flaming with a 9.5 inch fingerboard radius.

It has the raised pole pieces under the A string.

Fitted with a set of well worn-in flats, it sounds exactly as you would want a ‘vintage’  P to sound.

Complete with a Gator case and unmounted chrome covers.

Shipping within the UK is fine, I have a spare box.

Please feel free to ask any questions or for any additional pictures.

Mainly the E string, but there were reports of most being dead. Jason Howe acknowledged this. The internet is full of examples. Happened to me twice back then, and I sent the whole lot back to Roto. That's when I switched over to Warwick Reds, which I now find difficult to get ahold of.

I buy the Warwick Reds from Thomann. The only problem is that is you want free postage you HAVE to spend another £140 or so on other stuff that you probably don’t necessarily need……! 😀

  5. Mike bought a set of strings from me. Friendly and timely communications, plus he made instant payment and kindly let me know when the strings arrived safely. Deal in total confidence!
