London Metal band Seeking a competent Bass player to join Singer, Drummer and 2 Guitars. We rehearse at Enterprise Studios in Central London. This is early days for this project and we are looking for a full contributing member to help write and influence the sound. Influences across the board with a current focus on heavy melodic, although it is mutating. All members are experienced and looking to craft the music and not just rush out to play shows. I'm from Canada right near Toronto. Checked out the basses for sale here and I told myself I don't have to go back to the really high end stuff to play. I am going to try as hard as I can to keep it nice and simple and maybe just go with a solid fender bass. Actually planning a trip to birmingham on the weekend so I'll make sure to stop by that place and check it out. Thanks, yeah the demo tracks were with my last band, been broken up a few years now................Just gave playing a break after that because of all the industry and band BS. Now I'm looking to get back into it and hopefully avoid the same sort of people and situations.( or at least limit them)

Hey Everyone, New to this side of the pond and looking to kick start myself back into playing. On the look out for a good music store in the coventry/birmingham area that stocks some good bass equipment. Anyone know of a place that may have a selection of at least some fender basses? I sold all my equipment before heading over........Sadowsky NYC, F Bass, Valenti, Ampeg , Eden as well as a couple vintage Gibson and Fender basses. Thought I was going to give up playing but now finding that I have an itch that need scratching! First things first I need to put a half right bass in my hands. Also for anyone who is in the coventry area and may need a bass player........................I'm looking for a singer who needs a band or an existing group to get involved in.
