Finally managed to get a ticket for Wacken, another one ticked off the bucket list, well it will be when I go....so looking forward to this, just a year to wait!!

Dava Control, works like a think or a thin depending on thumb position. The only pick I have ever felt comfortable plaing bass with.

Edinburgh is shocking for losing music venues... Mainly due to property development or new neighbours complaining about noise (so don't move next door to something you don't like! ... That's another debate) 

The Venue was a great place to see bands, the original Labelle Angel, Cas Rock Cafe, the Picture House, to name but a few. 

Ah The Venue, about the same size as an aircraft seat but my favourite place of all time. During the 90's I must have seen every metal band there was play there, was a wonderful time.

In the same vein as I "could" drive to work in a Dacia, but would rather take the Merc.

I've used a Laney RIchter rig for years, after Ashdown, Hartke and Trace rigs.

Only the Trace rig sounded as good tbh but that was borrowed so had to give it back.

Exhorder - The band Pantera ripped off when they moved away from glam.

Such a delight to watch, it really was.

My first amp a million years ago was a Laney, recently bought a full rig, all Laney.

I have tried most makes but just seem to get the right tone for me out of a Laney.

Ah, the Edinburgh Venue, size of an airplane seat but it was awesome!!

Paintjob sounds interesting, but personally relicing it is like painting rust on a new car to make it seem older and used, I just dont get it.

Don't forget Laney....

I am very much of the opinion that a relic'd bass should be earned, not bought.

I managed to get tickets from Glasgow...

Not a big Prince fan really but scored MAJOR brownie points as the better half has wanted to see him for years and never managed it....
