Hors D'Oeuvres

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone on here has heard of a company called Sandner? They seem to be based in China but originally were a German company. There is one in my local music store for £700 and another model (not set up) for £1000. The £700 seems really nice to play....but I haven't tried many other basses so I don't have much to compare them to. Anyone else with any experience? Cheers.
