1. Bump with a bit more info:

MW in the serial number is Martin at MJW amps www.mjwamps.com he's not sure if it was one he built whilst working at matamp but he certainly gave it it's pre-release test.

And a forum post about a very similar head http://www.fenderpick.com/showthread.php?5628-New-Toyz.

2. SOLD

Tascam 2488 Original Model not MkII or Neo

Firmware updated to the latest version

Full specs on the Tascam website

In very good, full working condition with only some very minor cosmetic scuffs. Image is a stock one, I'll add some photos of the actual item shortly.

Bought for a recording project that never happened, I paid £200 plus P&P for so happy to break even. P&P will be £10 and payment by bank transfer or paypal with the buyer covering the fees.
Way way back in 1979, when we introduced the first 4-track cassette tape Portastudio, we were also helping set the professional audio industry standard for recording tracks: twenty-four. Like the Portastudio, 24 recording tracks caught on, becoming the primary creative tool for artists and producers worldwide. Was then. Still is. Only now everyone can have access to that magic number of tracks.

Twenty-five years after the first Portastudio comes the incredible 2488. It's by far the most affordable 24-track recording and mixing workstation ever made for home studios - and the only model within three times its price range that can truly run 24 tracks at 24-bits/ 44.1kHz. Eight inputs can be simultaneously recorded into the XLR and 1/4" inputs. Twenty physical faders control the mixdown channels; each channel has 3-band EQ and access to three built-in effects processors. A large internal hard disk gives the user ample space for over twenty 24-track songs and virtual tracks for comping. Plus the 2488 has a USB 2.0 port for back-up via home computer.

3-band EQ on 24 channels, 8-inputs, tone generator and stereo bus with high and low sweepable shelving bands and full parametric mid band
Three aux sends on all channels except the effects return
Loop effect provides reverb, delay, chorus and more on an aux send and return
Assignable Guitar multi-effects processor for distortion, chorus, delay, flange and more
Up to eight assignable dynamics processors for compression during recording or mixdown
Standard MIDI File player
Dedicated Stereo Compressor on the stereo output
Eight inputs: 4 XLR with phantom power double as 1/4" mic/line inputs, plus four dedicated 1/4" mic/line inputs
Twenty 45mm faders including master fader
LCD display for viewing meters and edit parameters
250 Virtual tracks
CD-RW drive to record Red Book CDs, import/export WAV files and backup hard drive
64-voice General MIDI sound module
High-speed USB 2.0 jack connects to PC or Mac® for data backup and SMF/WAV file
Recording resolution: 44.1kHz, 16-bit or 24-bit
Dimensions: 21.5"W x 14"D x 5.7" H
Weight: 17.6 lbs
4. SOLD

Definitely up for sale, no trades offers thanks just looking for a straight sale.

My GT-EPS isn't getting the use it deserves (new baby) so I'm letting it go to a new home where it'll get the attention it deserves.

The closest thing in matamp's current line would be the GT1 but my GT-EPS looks like it was a special order and has the following modifications:

40w not 100w
Has an additional foot-switchable overdrive
Built in attenuator/variable power using a fifth power amp valve

Voice and master defeat also foot-switcheable.

Basically a GTO GT1 hybrid with a few extra features.

It's in near perfect condition and has a padded slip cover and 3-way footswitch. I had the footswitch modded to include LEDs.

Black tolex, chrome fittings, black face plate with trad underscore logo.

I've also got a non-matching matamp 2x12 cab listed separately.

I can post for £15, pickup from Swansea welcomed - no international postage - UK only

There's loads of pics in this photobucket album, 2x12 also pictured for sale separately

Paypal if the buyer covers the fees, bank transfer or cash on collection all good.

Edit: Here's a few youtube demos of similar models, should give an idea of the tones available.
