1. I've been playing about a year, started learning with a pick, then got used to playing with fingers. Technically I'm improving fine, unfortunately my finger strength in my right hand isn't where I'd like it. I'm a huge Muse fan, but stuff like Hysteria and Knights of Cydonia I just cannot last the whole song whilst having to play so fast. So I was wondering what sort of exercises were recommended to help build up strength? Cheers!
2. Heya, I've been playing Bass for around a year, an Ibanzez AGB200, now looking to get a pedal. I'm a big fan of Muse, so something that will help me achieve that sort of distortion is something I'm looking for. Main one at the moment I'm looking at is the Bass Big Muff Pi- http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/77568. Are there any others which are as good for that sort of price? Any help much appreciated!
3. Thanks for the welcome guys, great link Musky, thanks And thanks for the tip Delvar, I'm sure I'll pick it up eventually!
4. Hey guys, just found this forum in my quest for further knowledge, looks good, so just thought I'd Hi! I've really only just started learning to play Bass, although I got my Bass in January and toyed with it on and off. It's an Ibanez AGB200. I'm in my final year of Uni, and living with my 2 best friends who used to be in a band....you can see where ths is going! So now the pressure is on for me to get to a decent standard. I've so far mastered the dizzying heights of Help! by The Beatles and Time is Running out by Muse. I've learnt using a pick, although my picking is sub par tbh, any tips and places you can point me for basic finger picking technique? I'm also incredibly musically challenged, with barely any knowledge of scales and that sort of thing, so again, anywhere I should look for learning scales and the such, apart from obviously browsing the forum? Any help greatly appreciated, looking forward to being a member! Chris
