Nice to know I'm not alone in thinking this 🙂

To the UK list I'd add Bloodstone Guitarworks. Was impressed with their 51 single coil so asked Dave about a custom build, 28K mudbucker in single coil format.

Dave talked me through a couple of construction methods then posted it 3 days. Thing is a monster 😲 Cost less than the mass produced Duncans 👍

A wide range humbucker will pick up and reproduce a wide frequency spectrum, being brighter, and more true to the source, that is the string vibration on the bass, a mudbucker reproduce a much more narrow frequency range and a lot of the high end frequency spectrum is cut off, producing a dark, muddy sound, hence the names.

Also the mudbucker will be likely to have much higher output in comparison.

    Great , thanks  😁👍

  3. Ibanez guitar ..not sure which model ..

Bought 2nd hand to just noodle with ..turns out I'm  not overdoing the noodling ..😊

It's had a headstock break at some point , put back together by some guitar place in York , I can't remember offhand ..

    I think they're about £ 350 or so new .

Anyway , it plays well , but could be used for spares etc or indeed the aforementioned noodling ...😁

    Collection only please ..cheers 👍20230404_095708.thumb.jpg.0920ab63227ad923536cc29713315aaa.jpg20230404_095656.thumb.jpg.ca22950ed1f659108fb81cc7f9e075fb.jpg20230404_095629.thumb.jpg.14bd07525b545c79740a17cc451446c6.jpg20230404_095616.thumb.jpg.37ccef32d0f19c35cdd6248da7b841e6.jpg

  4. Squier Bullet Tele ...Lake Placid Blue,  Rosewood fretboard , new strings , though probably needs a set up ..

Really good condition apart from a paint chip on the body and some small marks in the finish  ..I've got a small tin of LPB paint you're welcome to

From 2020 , I think ... I bought it to noodle around on  , but I  haven't done much noodling of late so it's just gathering dust ..

    Collection only please ...cheers 👍20230125_102325.thumb.jpg.3d2f9e8b80be8022c839be6db18be55d.jpg20230125_102306.thumb.jpg.8a064167aae7fc5e5c45f941d40d935e.jpg20230125_102253.thumb.jpg.7d5662ab95a21289bcc5f02899fbccf2.jpg20230125_102242.thumb.jpg.884ec540c2fbb92c7c08de971f42b3f7.jpg
