1. Save me from my PS3!!!!!

My last band stopped abruptly after recording a debut album and starting to get a Buzz around our sound.
Our guitarist moved overseas and couldnt find anyone decent enough to replace him. That was a few months ago now and can't find anything decent.....someone must need a decent bassist round my way?

I'm mid 30s been playing bass for @ 20 years and singing. Ive been performing live since I was about 8 (youth orchestras and what not)

I have transport and a decent backline along with a couple of lovely 5 strings

You can check out my last band by visiting www.sachanovak.com (unmastered and not quite complete) or listen to the album previews here http://www.last.fm/music/Sachanovak/Shine

Influences: Kerbdog, Deftones, Bush, Foos, QOTSA, Black Sabbath, SOAD etc etc

I'm looking to form/join a band preferably with similar likeminded experienced people.

Glam/Hair metallers and Ego-maniacs need not apply thanks :)

Ping me a note if you're interested

Cheers

Nick

Bought Gareths Nady sysstem

Was as described, packaged well and turned up sharpish

A perfect transaction!

3. This is Behringers answer to Korgs' DTR 2000

Has been rack mounted since I've owned it

Been a great investment....the only difference I've found between the Korg and this is that this takes a little time to pick up the B string
It has 3 tiny scratches on the front (pic 3) but that s it.

Fantastic bit of kit for the price! Please someone give it a good home

Functions:
# Multi-functional tuner including built-in microphone for use with acoustic instruments
# Useful metronome, adjustable from 30 to 240 bpm with audible and visual beat indicator. You can also work on-the-fly with the manual TAP tempo function
# Integrated, switchable racklights with high-power LEDs for absolute control over your rack gear
# 11 different tuner modes (e. g. "chromatic", "banjo" or open tunings) based on 12 equally tempered tones
# Manual or automatic A-tone standard pitch calibration from 428 Hz to 452 Hz in 1-Hz increments, transposable by a maximum of ± 7 semitones for especially flexible tuning
# Adjustable resolution of the LED bar (5 Cent/LED vs. 1 Cent/LED) enables precise tuning up to the cent, which allows for user-defined tuning systems
# Two separate input channels accessible via front and back connectors (controllable via optional footswitch)
# Additional 1/4'' TS output for metronome click/reference tone - perfect for monitoring and practice applications

I've had a Schecter Stiletto Diamond Custom 5 for a few years.

I bought this second hand and I haven't got a bad word to say about Schecters

For the price....I'd highly recommend them as a decent cheapish bass

Had a few enquiries about trading.

I need the cash for these to pay for the Chilis, so no trades thanks.

Now having said that......read below from a genuine request I got through another websit

......words fail me......

Hi,
I was wondering if you were interested in a trade for your bass amp speakers.
I have a ride on lawnmower that has not been of use to me since I had a swimming pool installed. I bought the lawnmower for £4300 in 2005 and it has been used maybe only 100 times. I have not had a single fault since ownership.
My son has just started to play bass and he has told me he needs some decent speakers. He has been using my marshall amp from the 60s with speakers from my stereo.
Please let me know if you are interested. I do not have a trailer but I would be happy to ride the lawnmower too your house, it would have to be done at night time though as it is not legal to do this.
Thank you for your time.
James

6.
I think I will end up waiting for a Double Midget. But I'd like to hear a Purple Chili when a couple of the guys on here get one.
I picked my 1 x 15 and 2 x 12 up at the weekend....

just gotta wait for a week or so to try them out at a gig

:)

7. My current stable

Apologies for the crap photo

My stuff:

MM Stingray 5 SH in Tobacco burst

Purple Chili 2 x 12 + piezo
Purple Chili 1 x 15
Behringer Rack tuner
Zoom 2020 Effects box

Only got the Purple Chili cabs yesterday so have yet to try them in a band scenario...they dwarf the Mesas but are about half the weight!

BTW any body interested in the Mesas? http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=76401

Next on the list...Hmmm Korg DTR2000 tuner I think

Both been used regularly for gigs...although never been thrashed

1 small scuff to the rear of the 15...about the size of a fag butt (you can see this in pic 1)
1 scrape on the front of the 2 x 10s...about 1/2 " long but from 3 or 4 feet away you cant see it (see pics 2 & 3)
